When a nine-year old Poet and a seven-year old Painter struggle with homework, an odd looking stranger mysteriously appears and offers them help of an unusual kind: a time travel journey by rainbow that will help unblock their brains. But they’ll have to pay a price. They must fill a vial with specific ingredients from each adventure if they wish to return and successfully complete their projects. The kids agree and, in a split second, their harrowing adventures lead them to such characters as Homer, Cleopatra and others whose lessons help the kids with their homework and filling their vial so they can return home.
